A Family Dentist is Your Partner in Long-Term Oral Health
As a family dentist, we are passionate about keeping our patients in good oral health. We understand that while we are focused on the health of teeth and gums, most of our patients are not. It isn’t that people do not want a healthy smile, simply that teeth do such a good job of working, that most people do not have to think about them. As long as your teeth are healthy, you can use them to eat your favorite meal, smile at a stranger, and chat with your best friend. The work seamlessly and quietly most of the time. It is only when they become infected or damaged that your teeth begin to demand attention. In our office, our objective is to keep them healthy so that you can enjoy life without restriction and without worrying about your teeth.
What a family dentist can do for you.
In our dental office, we practice preventative care to keep your teeth and gums healthy. This involves cleaning your teeth on a regular basis, providing a fluoride treatment as necessary and deep cleaning your gums if you are showing early signs of gum disease. Since you never know when you will have a health emergency, we are also there when you need us to deal with a toothache or save a tooth that has been cracked or chipped.
The type of care we offer in our family dentist office.
We practice cosmetic dentistry so in addition to keeping your teeth healthy; we can also improve the appearance of your smile. Before we get started, we will take the time to listen to your concerns, needs, and the goals that you have for your appearance. This is important because there is no such thing as the perfect smile. There is only the perfect smile for you. Your smile needs to reflect the image you have of yourself. That means that your desired shade of white will be different than someone else’s, and that is okay. Our goal is to help you to love your smile, regardless of the procedures it takes to get you to that point. You may need a teeth whitening procedure to brighten your smile. You may need dental veneers to close gaps in between your teeth or to change their size. You may need dental crowns to protect your teeth and to make them appear larger. Regardless of what your goals are or what you do not like about your smile, we can help.
If you are missing any of your teeth, we have solutions for that as well. We can place a dental bridge in your mouth, by securing crowns to your existing teeth. We can also place a dental implant where any of the missing teeth were. Since our solutions are diverse, there are virtually no issues that we cannot correct with our cosmetic dentistry procedures.
